1. Controller

The controller of the personal data processed through medexeurep.com is Medex Kurumsal Danışmanlık Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Medex", "we"), Ehlibeyt Mah. Tekstilciler Cad. No: 35/7, 06520 Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye. Contact for data protection matters: regulatory@medexeurep.com.

This policy applies the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. Data we collect

  • Proposal and contact forms: full name, company, manufacturer's country, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, information about your devices, links to documents you choose to share, an existing EUDAMED SRN and any message you write.

  • Email and other correspondence: the content of messages you send us and your contact details.

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, processed by our hosting and security providers when you visit the website.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your request and preparing a proposal: your consent given in the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b); KVKK Article 5).

  • Performing a contract, including authorised representation under a signed mandate: GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

  • Meeting legal obligations, such as accounting and tax records: GDPR Article 6(1)(c).

  • Operating and securing the website and producing basic site statistics: our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

4. Cookies

The website uses cookies set by our hosting provider Wix and our security provider Cloudflare that are needed for the website to work, to keep it secure and to produce basic site statistics (for example svSession, bSession, hs, XSRF-TOKEN, server-session-bind, ssr-caching and __cf_bm). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers.

5. Who receives your data

  • Wix.com Ltd., which hosts the website and processes form submissions on our behalf.

  • Cloudflare, Inc., which protects the website against attacks.

  • Our email and IT service providers, as needed to handle correspondence.

  • Competent authorities and the European Commission (EUDAMED), only where a signed mandate or the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Medex is established in Türkiye. When you contact us from the European Economic Area, your data is transferred to Türkiye so that we can answer your request (GDPR Article 49(1)(b)) or, for contracts, perform them. Our hosting and security providers may process data in other countries, including the United States, under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to answer your request and follow up on a proposal. Data related to a contract is kept for the periods required by Turkish commercial and tax law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and Article 11 of the KVKK you can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send your request to regulatory@medexeurep.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State where you live or work, or with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to submitted information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
